Posterscope makes two senior promotions

Out-of-home specialist agency Posterscope has promoted Nick Halas and Russell Smither to senior global positions, both effective immediately.

Halas, pictured above, has been promoted from UK head of data and innovation to global head of strategy after four years with the agency. In his new role, he will continue to lead service innovation and build relationships with clients and partners, but with an expanded remit.

“Nick has been relentless in driving innovation at Posterscope UK and has increasingly provided invaluable support to our offices internationally,” said Stephen Whyte, global president of Posterscope Worldwide.

“In this new role we will see that involvement grow significantly.

Meanwhile, the former lead of the UK insights team, Russell Smither, has also had his role expanded on an international basis as head of research and insights, reporting into Halas.

Whyte added that Smither had been “instrumental” in Posterscope winning multiple awards over the years, including awards Mediatel’s Connected Consumer Awards (The Connies).

“He has diversified Posterscope’s insight offering in areas such as campaign evaluations, creative testing and location intelligence,” Whyte said.
