Reddit has announced new senior leaders to its advertising executive team: Stephen Riad and Roelof van Zwol. Riad becomes Reddit’s VP of global mid-market and SMD sales, while van Zwol becomes VP of ads engineering.
Riad joins from Google, where he held senior roles across strategy, sales, operations, and growth since 2011.
Van Zwol joins from Pinterest, where he was head of monetization sciences following stints in senior positions at Netflix and Yahoo!.
Riad reports to Reddit’s global EVP and president of advertising Harold Klaje, and Roelof reports to Reddit’s EVP of ads monetization, Shariq Rizvi. Both start immediately.
