Robust Growth Predicted For Web Hosting Revenues, Despite Technology Downturn

The current technology downturn notwithstanding, the Yankee Group predicts robust growth in web-hosting revenues in the international markets of Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific (including Japan).

Recently released forecasts project the three regions’ combined revenues for shared hosting, dedicated hosting and collocation to grow from $3.3 billion in 2001 to $14.5 billion in 2006, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 34%.

These and other findings were released under the Yankee Group’s new Global Forecasts Service.
