Seesaw and LoveFilm complete strong Broadcast panel at Media Playground

Media Playground 2010

SeeSaw and LoveFilm have joined the Broadcast panel at this year’s Media Playground, completing a strong line-up for the event in London on 3 June.

Now in its third year, Media Playground is a full day event giving delegates the opportunity to see the latest technologies at close hand and interact with panels of experts debating how these innovations will impact the advertising market.

The day’s four seminars cover Mobile Advertising, Targeting Technology, Social Media & Gaming and Broadcast in a multi-platform world.

SeeSaw’s commercial director Matt Rennie and LoveFilm’s group digital officer Lelsey Mackenzie join Liz McMahon, director, Kantar Media; Michael Beecroft, digital trading director at MEC Interaction; Bruce Daisley, head of sales at YouTube; Richard Bullwinkle, chief evangelist at Rovi; and chair William Cooper, owner of informitv, on the Broadcast panel.

Mackenzie was BSkyB director of channels and operations for a decade, with responsibility for all television operations, management and development with third party channels on the Sky platform.

She has been at the forefront of digital development and innovation in the UK, having recently been interim chief executive of Kangaroo, the online VoD joint venture project between BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

Rennie is the former business development director (content distribution) at Channel 4 and before that was senior commercial manager at Virgin Media and head of business development at Warner Music UK.

Media Playground 2010 takes place in London on Thursday 3 June 2010.

A day pass to the conference costs just £130. Individual seminar tickets can also be booked for just £65.
