Sunday Readers Are More Receptive, Says Survey

People are more receptive to new ideas and information on Sundays, when they are most relaxed, and often turn to Sunday newspapers for the information they seek, according to the second annual Sunday in America study from PARADE magazine.

MediaPost reports that this is a boon to publishers and advertisers, as the ‘Sunday state of mind’ offers avenues to reach millions of readers with a variety of messages.

Sundays provide advertisers with a unique opportunity to reach consumers on the one day when they are most likely to think about planning, researching and buying products and are more actively seeking such information, says the report.
