the7stars’ Myers-Lamptey leaves for MullenLowe Mediahub UK

Dino Myers-Lamptey, chief strategy officer at the7stars, has been poached by MullenLowe Mediahub UK to take up the role of managing director.

The hire follows recent pitch successes for MullenLowe Mediahub in the UK, including Western Union’s Global AOR for communications planning and media buying towards the end of 2016.

“After just over five years challenging and disrupting the market with the7stars, it was always going to take an incredible opportunity to lure me away,” Myers-Lamptey said.

“MullenLowe Mediahub’s work first caught my attention, yet the vision and ambition, which can be seen by the quality of their recent hires, made the persuasion complete. I’m looking forward to working creatively with a hungry team, offering collaborative media solutions that clients are more frequently demanding.”

MullenLowe Mediahub UK has recently hired chief creative officer Jose Miguel Sokoloff, chief strategy officer Jo Arde and chief operations officer Ian Douglas.

Myers-Lamptey will report to Ross Jenkins, Mediahub’s executive director EMEA and APAC, and Dale Gall, MullenLowe Group’s UK CEO, who said: “I am a huge fan of 7stars and have long wanted to work with Dino; he is great thinker, collaborator and provocateur.

“We share a clear vision on the type of work we want to create and I know that Dino will work brilliantly with Jo, Jose-Miguel, Tom and the rest of the leadership team to achieve it.”
