TV market round-up: February 2014

February was a good month for commercial television channels, with just ITV Breakfast seeing a very small decline in revenue.

Channel 5 saw revenue increase an impressive 13% to almost £23 million in February, while a 6.5% increase meant that ITV1 reached £102.5 million.

With Channel 4 up 4.8% to almost £42 million, total terrestrial (including ITV Breakfast) was up 6.7% overall to almost £172 million, while total satellite neared the £130 million mark with 6.8% revenue growth.

Although the only channel to see a decrease in revenue, a -0.2% drop meant that ITV Breakfast was down by only £10,000 in February from £4.42 million the previous month.
