January was a good month for commercial broadcasters, with no declines recorded across the board.
Up 12% year on year, Channel 4 posted the greatest revenue increase – jumping from £49.8 million the previous year to £55.8 million.
Elsewhere, ITV was up 4.1% to £127.5 million, while ITV Breakfast was up 7.5% to £5.3 million.
Combined, the broadcasters brought in just shy of £188.7 million after a healthy 6.4% boost.
Meanwhile, total satellite revenue, which now includes Channel 5 since Sky picked up its ad sales, was up 23.4% overall to £193 million.
