TV market round-up: September 2019

ITV was the only broadcaster to report a rise in revenues during September, according to latest agency estimates.

With the start of the Rugby World Cup providing a boost to commercial revenues, ITV increased by 4.9% to stand at £132.4m.

ITV Breakfast had the biggest dip in revenues down by -5.3% to £5.4m, while Channel 4’s total fell by -2.3% to stand at £57.2m for the month.

Elsewhere, Total Satellite was down -3.4% year-on-year to £202.9m.
