Portsmouth & Sunderland Newspapers has announced pre-tax profits of £9.0m for the year to April 2, an increase of 24% on the previous year. Revenue for the group’s publishing sector increased by 3% to £50.7m, with advertising revenue accounting for £36.4m of this.
