Turner Network Television will launch two new satellite channels in September targeting both children and adults. Cartoon Network and TNT will combine to create a 24 hour entertainment channel. The BBC confirmed to MediaTel today that Sue Stoessl is to take over as head of broadcasting research at the Corporation, to replace former head, Peter Meneer. Her post will officially begin in the summer but a definite date has yet to be announced.
