After 10 years of business, Heineken is to withdraw its sponsorship of British ice hockey, believing that its marketing objectives have changed since the deal began in 1983. The Ice Hockey Association is already actively seeking a new sponsor for all activities.

The Radio Advertising Bureau believes that it could be more effective if it was given more financial backing from the independent radio stations. Any additional contributions would be used in marketing schemes to increase the level of awareness for radio advertising.RAB: 071 383 3288
