ITV1’s latest Britain’s Got Talent series managed to bank the top programme spot in May, despite missing popular judges Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan.
Channel 5 has had another bumper month in terms of revenue, up 41.7% compared to this time last year.
Unsurprisingly, The Royal Wedding banked the top TV ratings in April. A combined peak audience of more than 26 million viewers tuned in to watch Kate and Will exchange vows.

Comic Relief banked the top ratings in March with more than 10 million average viewers. The BBC’s coverage of the charity event came number one in the top programme rankings for the month, beating ITV1’s popular Sunday night hits Dancing on Ice and Wild at Heart.
February was a good month for television, particularly for ITV, which not only banked the number one viewing spot with Dancing on Ice, but also enjoyed a 18.6% rise in revenues.
ITV1’s popular Dancing on Ice proved a popular choice once again, coming number one in the top programme rankings for February with a high of 9.28 million average viewers.
The Sunday night TV schedule proved to be a hit for ITV1 during January, with a peak run of Dancing on Ice, Wild at Heart and the Dancing on Ice Skate Off.
Channel 5 had a particularly good post-Christmas month in January, with revenues up 18.4% on this time last year.
