Centaur Communications has closed its weekly tabloid newspaper, Corporate Money, following a drop in circulation and ad revenue. The ITV companies will today be asked to put up an emergency sum of £6.5m in an effort to avert a financial crisis at ITN (Newsline 10/10). ITN has also warned staff of “painful” cost-cutting measures.

London sports paper Full Time (071 937 3535), which launched on 27 July, has folded due to lack of sales and a poor response from advertisers. A spokesperson from Full Time’s printers, Probrook, confirmed to MediaTel today that no paper was printed on Saturday and that the title has closed.
